How to choose a good photo

A little care with the photo goes a long way:

• Clear and well-lit — natural daylight works best. Avoid dark, blurry or grainy photos.
• Side-on or three-quarter angle — a photo taken roughly at eye level usually engraves best.
• Simple background — a plain, uncluttered background makes it easier to isolate your pet’s outline.
• Sharp focus, especially on the face — make sure the face and eyes are in focus.
• Higher resolution is better — send the original photo file rather than a screenshot or a compressed copy.
